John helped tunnel out the Victoria line tube network between 1964 and 1969 “it was good money, but really hard work” says John. In 1974 he got his first taste of fame when he saved a baby from a river in North Islington, the next day he was the toast of the town and all over the media.

John  describes himself as Handsome, intelligent and charming however we are awaiting confirmation from his wife Maureen to who he’s been married to for 18 years. “Being in the zimmers has really given me alot of new found confidence...I want the zimmers to be the most famous band in the world...we’re one great big family”  says John
