Winnie has had the most wonderful and varied life, which started just over 101 years ago. She’s been a radio presenter, a book writer and a political campaigner. Having just received her letter from the Queen, she’s enjoying a slightly more peaceful life just outside Derby.

Winnie stole the hearts of millions of americans when she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at the tender age of 99 in June 2007.

Winnie is currently writing her autobiography and we look forward to reading it very soon.
